Pioneer Christmas Baking Event by Natalie Familia

director3455

In December 2024, Natalie Familia gave a wonderful presentation and demonstration of pioneer baking. What does it take to make an apple pie in 1847? A great deal of time and effort to get the ingredients was spent by those early settlers and not nearly as easy as we have it today. Natalie demonstrated the cooking utensils that would have been used and talked about the ingredients. Tasty samples of all the pioneer recipes she presented were available for the attendees. It was a fabulous time and so informative. Thank you Natalie!
