Daughters of Utah Pioneers
The Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP) are dedicated to preserving and honoring the legacy of the pioneers who settled in Utah. Founded in 1901, the International Society Daughters of Utah Pioneers (ISDUP) focuses on historical preservation, education, and community engagement through collecting artifacts, sharing pioneer stories, and maintaining historical sites.
In 1921, the DUP formed a Company in Washington County. Over the years, the Company expanded, leading to a division in 2001 into three separate Companies: Washington, Washington East, and Washington West. These Companies encompass a total of 27 local Camps throughout the county, each actively participating in community service, educational programs, and historical preservation.
